Olympus/Polis Chain Clarification
First we have to clarify because some of our new users asked it a few times on our social media channels what is the difference between Olympus and Polis Chain. Olympus was the name of the Polis Chain while it was in development and we decided to go with this name because we name all our products and services with reference to Greek mythology and it just sounds cooler than Polis Chain. But in fact we are talking about one and the same product or service, regardless of whether we are talking about Polis Chain or Olympus.
We hope we could shed some light into the darkness here and it helps to prevent confusion about Polis Chain and Olympus.
Moving to Olympus
You may have seen it already, Hans our beloved DAO manager for adoption has uploaded a tutorial on how you can move your Polis from Binance Smart Chain to Olympus. If you are still holding your Polis tokens on BSC and you struggle to move them over to Olympus than that is the tutorial you should pay attention for.
The tutorial has been splitted in to two parts.
Please check it out here:
Polis and Polis Chain have been listed on a lot of platforms to track, chart and what so ever you like to do with in the past two weeks like vfat.tools, DefiLlama, Dexscreener and 0xtracker.app beside our successful listing on Meter.io bridge.
The team is quite busy at the moment to onboard some new partnerships, listings, dApps and all these tiny pieces which are needed to make a project like ours successful.
Please forgive us for not currently being able to provide a roadmap here or talk publicly about what’s going on behind the scenes. As you should already know from us in the past, we are very cautious with announcements and only announce things when they are fixed.
As one user put it on Discord the other day:
“The team tends to under promise and then over deliver.”
As you all have noticed we have started marketing 2 weeks ago with a lot of stuff in this area. Press releases, Review videos, Interviews and all what you could think of when it comes to make some noise around the project.
As a result, the price of Polis on the Exchanges has gone from $0.24 to a peak of $1.80. Currently Polis is howering around $0.80, which is more than 3x the value since we started marketing. With this we could increase our market cap to around 13 million USD. — One could say that these efforts have paid off.
In the next few weeks, we will continue to expand our marketing activities and continue in this way, because the success here proves us right.
Here you can take a look for our Press Releases and the platforms where it has been published:
- Yahoo Finance
- Bitcoin PR Buzz
- Digital Journal
- Newsbit.nl (Dutch)
- Smart Liquidity
- Cryptonaute.fr (French)
On top of that Smart Liquidity published a Navigation Guide for Polis which you can find here:
You may have seen it already but there is another great interview with Hans (DAO manager adoption) on Randy Hilarski’s Youtube channel. They both talked about all the stuff happening to Polis, Olympus and HadesSwap. It’S a pleasure to listen to these two oldschool crypto guys becasue they are sticking around in the crypto space for such a long time and have tons of experience when it comes to crypto and blockchain.
Enjoy the interview:
Some Youtubers picked up on Polis and the marketing noise and they’ve published some nice reviews about Polis, Olympus and HadesSwap.
Check them out here:
SatoshiSean has published a short review about Polis and it looks like he’s really excited about what we are doing here.
KCP a korean Youtuber was also impressed by Polis and did a short review about the project.
Head Capital has made another review for our russian community.
Our friends over at Hadesswap.finance are doing a great job by providing a lot of Polis trading pairs and liquidity pools. They are now providing pools for POLIS/DAI, POLIS/BTC, POLIS/ETH, POLIS/CAKE, POLIS/SOUL, SOUL/DAI and SOUL/CAKE.
Thanks to Cerberus for such a great support of Olympus and its native currency Polis!
Beside all this work for maintaining and expanding their platform they had a meme contest running and two winners have been chosen. Congratulations!
